As CBB’s Finance Manager, Michael Colmagro’s key responsibilities are to ensure the organisation’s financial and management accounting functions run smoothly. His day-to-day role includes monitoring, analysing, forecasting and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
Michael was instrumental in introducing salary packaging as a new income stream to CBB in 2001, which required significant change management in both systems and internal processes and procedures. Today he plays an integral role in ensuring CBB’s salary packaging services meet all statutory requirements whilst maximising the benefits available to more than 500 CBB clients across Australia.
With over 25 years’ experience in various professional management positions, Michael has acquired strong skills in the areas of leadership, strategic management, business planning, risk management, staff administration and negotiation. As part of CBB’s executive team, he applies these skills together with his strong commercial acumen to contribute to CBB’s strategic direction.
A member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, Michael has worked in the not for profit sector for over 20 years, 17 years of which he has been employed at CBB.
