How does it work?
Provide us with the receipt once you have purchased the device outright. You will then be able to package the purchase price of the device.
Electronic devices you can package include, but aren’t limited to:
Laptops
Mobile phones and tablets
Bluetooth headphones
Smart watches
Things you should know
Portable and battery powered eligible electronic devices can be packaged on top of your standard salary packaging limit
The devices must be used predominantly for work-related purposes
You cannot include accessories or software
You can only package one type of each eligible electronic device per Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year
You can package a maximum of six eligible electronic devices per FBT year (cost allowance for electronic device packaging is unlimited)
Your employer must provide sign-off to package each eligible electronic device
