2023-2024 year in review
Here’s some of the ways we empower our sector:
CBB Community Business Grants that provide not for profits with free support to address community and sector needs
Professional development scholarships and grants for not for profit employees
Sponsoring specific causes such as staff awards, an emergency relief fund, first aid kits for organisational vehicles, and facilitating our team’s fundraising and volunteering efforts
Matching board vacancies with passionate not for profit leaders through our free BoardMatch resource
We give back to our clients
We reinvest our surplus funds to assist client organisations and other not for profits achieve their social objectives. Since the inception of our Community Development Program we have contributed over $3.5 million to the community.
We care about our clients’ sector
In addition to our Community Development Program initiative, our staff actively volunteer their time through fundraising, event participation, donation of time and goods and voluntary board positions. It is not unusual to find a client organisation representative presenting at a CBB staff meeting to let us know what their organisation is all about and how it contributes to the community.
We provide professional development opportunities
We run a variety of information sessions and workshops around the country for the community based sectors our clients are in, providing opportunities for their staff to up-skill in their areas of interest, networking with industry leaders or staying up to date with key topics.
