Belmont Neighbourhood Centre’s mission is to:

  • engage with the community of Belmont
  • be a Community Centre which actively responds to local community need
  • build resilience and social connectedness in the community
  • coordinate Community Development activities
  • provide high-quality information, referral and resources
  • provide safe and dynamic facilities for vulnerable people

Belmont Neighbourhood Centre’s vision is that:

  • vulnerable people and community groups of identity are safe and respected (people with Disabilities, Aboriginal People, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) groups and people experiencing disadvantage)
  • children are safe and nurtured
  • those experiencing hardship know how to access information, referral and advocacy services
  • the needs and concerns in the community are deeply understood
  • volunteers actively invest in the decision-making processes of the organisation
  • local people think and act locally
  • our activities are funded by sustainable and diverse sources

Location: Belmont North, NSW
Day: Thursdays at 1pm
Frequency: Monthly
Time commitment per month: 8 hours
