Dr Ellen Schuler joined the CBB team with over 10 years of consulting experience in Australia and overseas. With a strong background in innovation, quality management, compliance and continuous improvement, Ellen is passionate about creating pathways to sustainability for community service providers. With a strong commitment to disability inclusion, Ellen advocates that people with disability will only have real choice and control under the NDIS if service providers of all shapes and sizes achieve financial sustainability and provide best practice, person-centred care.
Ellen is an MBA graduate of the UniSA Business School and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In recent years, she has provided research for the UniSA Business School with a focus on strategy development and the role of performance measures and governance in driving organisational performance.
Ellen also brings many years of experience as a senior executive in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Having worked in an ever-changing environment, she understands the need to understand market dynamics to deliver innovation, customer excellence and effective change management. She prefers to take a whole of organisation approach, helping clients to understand how small changes in one area of the organisation can affect other areas.
Ellen believes the NDIS is an opportunity for service providers to innovate and evolve their service delivery to offer services that people need and want.
