01/12/2005 | Keith Fulton Scholarship 2006

Amanda Reinschmidt's year as the CBB's inaugural Keith Fulton Memorial Scholarship recipient has come to an end after completing the Governor's Leadership Foundation (GLF) program this month.

"I feel extremely privileged and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an excellent program" reflected Amanda.

The GLF is an experiential leadership development program which focuses on a broad range of issues from a particularly South Australian perspective. All participants are encouraged to recognise and reflect on the interconnectedness of issues and interests, and in doing so appreciate that the issues are complex and that solutions are often dependent on many stakeholders making a genuine commitment to collaborate.

"In the latter part of the year it became clearer to me that one can demonstrate leadership in all aspects of your life. That leadership is not a formal position, but a way of thinking and acting. A key focus of the program is in developing leadership beyond self interest," commented Amanda.

The CBB is proud to announce that we will again be sponsoring a participant in the 2006 GLF Program, as part of our commitment to meeting our social objectives.

We would like to congratulate Elizabeth Williamson, Executive Officer of Western Domestic Violence Service who has been awarded the 2006 Keith Fulton Memorial Scholarship recipient.
