21/07/2005 | CBB Celebrates a Milestone

On Tuesday 12th July 2005 around 50 guests, including present and former staff and board members and a select group of people who were instrumental in inspiring the formation of the CBB, celebrated the CBB's 10 year Anniversary. Fun, socialising and the opportunity to celebrate such a wonderful milestone for a unique organisation was the theme for the night. Jan Lowe, CBB Chair, gave particular thanks to Hedley Bachmann and former CEO of the Spastic Centre Vic Symons. Also acknowledged was the dedication and valued contribution of all staff and board members over the years that have made the organisation what it is today. Speeches on the night were filled with reminiscent moments of how the CBB first came into existence and the journey it has taken to date. The CBB now looks forward to an exciting future dedicated to making a difference to the community sector. Back to news archive
