Leadership and Strategy Development

It is clear from the NDIS proposals and the Productivity Commission Report that new business models will need to be put in place for disability service providers. CBB can assist in providing a strategic overview of how an organisation may approach this. CBB has considerable experience of working with Boards, Executives and Senior Managers to identify and assess the current status of organisations against standard business models and assist in charting a way forward for them.

Developing a Growth and Sustainability Strategy

Key to success of an organisation in a quasi-market based system such as that proposed by the NDIS is the ability to develop a growth strategy and development plan for the future. CBB can assist in utilising business models and practice within an organisation in order to develop strategic and operational plans that challenge existing approaches to secure the optimum approach to growth and sustainability.

Developing and Implementing effective Business Systems

The move away from block funded programs and services to individualised funding packages with the potential for clients to opt for self-directed funding models, will require organisations to develop and implement activity based costing within their business models and systems. This will require the ability to effectively and efficiently track income and expenditure and assign these to an individual. The National Disability Insurance Scheme represents the largest agenda for change in the Disability Sector in a generation and will provide significant increase in funding for individuals to support them as well as for successful agencies in the sector.
