As CBB’s Senior Marketing Consultant, Meg leads a small team dedicated to helping not for profit organisations all over Australia to refine their marketing, extend their capacity, and multiply their impact. A Certified Practising Marketer and Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute, her specialties include brand development and management, marketing strategy, communication planning, advertising, public relations, digital and social media, business development and operations.
Meg started her career 25 years ago in community radio and telemarketing, where she learnt the art of engaging an audience. This led to a career in customer service at Telstra MobileNet, managing telemarketing campaigns across states through a period of frenetic growth. Joining the advertising industry in 2002, she spent more than a decade developing media strategy and managing campaigns for a wide variety of clients including government agencies, small community organisations, major charities and global brands. More recently, Meg worked as an independent consultant specialising in communication planning, and has held marketing roles within not for profit organisations.
A natural teacher, Meg can adapt her consulting style and strategic techniques to suit expert or novice marketers in organisations of all shapes and sizes. Always putting people and purpose first, Meg strikes a healthy balance between established ways and disrupting the status quo to deliver sustainable, lasting benefit for her clients.
When she’s not busy solving marketing problems you can find her puzzling through a tabletop strategy game, or exploring wild places with her husband Pete, son Cato, and Ginny the red heeler.
